Really good quality heat alarm which makes a super loud noise when activated. It's wireless and just sticks to the ceiling so is really easy to install. We recently had our house rewired and I didn't realise that the minimum safety standard is now heat alarms in certain rooms/areas rather than smoke alarms, so this has been perfect to help us comply with safety rules and hopefully keep our family safer in the event of an emergency.
Heat alarm
The kit covers a 3 bedroom house, bathroom and kitchen nicely. The duality of smoke and heat detectors is useful and the carbon monoxide detector is essential. A complete package. A dry run test shows that the alarms link together giving good warning throughout the house.
Comprehensive system
Smoke, heat and CO - pretty much all covered. Would be nice if Wifi or smart enable to trigger more devices. Just need to find suitable spots, as per suggested by the instruction. No more further setting, only the test button- and coverage of up to 100m. Built in battery lasts about 10 years - which is not changeable. Good clear digital display showing the CO concentration. Very loud individually and easily cover a 3-4 bed room house/apartment. One convenient set for easy set up and pretty reliable for being interlinked.
Pretty complete set
This Wireless Interlinked Smoke, Heat and Carbon Monoxide kit is good value and good quality We bought a magnetic fixing kit which made installing them easier; although installation is simple anyway with the provided kit As they are linked, they all sound at once when alerted which can be a bit noisy and a little disconcerting but the remote silences them immediately Definitely a good and necessary pack for any home Recommended
Remote works well!
These units come pre connected to each other to make installation super easy. They have built in batteries that should last for 10 years making this quite an economical package. Unlike other detectors that work individually as soon as one of these detectors is activated all 5 will sound alerting everyone in the house wherever they may be.
Quick and easy set up
This smoke alarm is fairly small in size but well built and looks pretty good overall. Installation was super easy with a template for screws or self-adhesive tape options (both provided). Alarm battery is supposedly 10 years long so this is very assuring. Although only time will tell if it actually lasts 10 years or not. A great thing about this smoke alarm is that you can link multiple units with each other which can be really beneficial. I have not tested this functionality yet but it suggests that you can link with just press of a button.
Easy to Install and works Perfectly
FAQ
FAQ
Do these alarms meet UK and Scottish safety laws?
Absolutely. Our interlinked series is fully compliant with the latest UK and Scottish fire safety legislation requiring interconnected alarms for residential properties.
Where should I install smoke, heat and CO alarms in my home?
Install smoke alarms in bedrooms, hallways and living areas, heat alarms in areas such as kitchens, and CO alarms near potential carbon monoxide sources. Always follow local requirements and the manufacturer's installation instructions.
Are interconnected alarms worth it for whole-home protection?
Yes. When alarms are interconnected, one alarm can trigger the others, helping ensure the warning is heard throughout your home.
When should I use a fire blanket?
Fire blankets are designed for certain small, contained fires, especially cooking fires. Keep one easily accessible in the kitchen and only use it when it is safe to do so.
Where will my package ship from, and when can I expect to receive it?
Our products are mainly shipped from Germany and are usually received within 3-5 days.
