These come ready interlinked so are ready to go. 1 is a heat detector, best used in the kitchen, the other 2 are smoke detectors. Easy to install, everything included. Battery life is 10 years. I like the fact that if one goes off they all do, making sure you are alerted anywhere in the house. Set of 3 is perfect for a small house. Very happy with these.

It consists of 2 smoke detectors and one heat alarm (to avoid false alarms in the kitchen) which are all interconnected (linking them is beyond simple). If one goes off they all do, ensuring no one misses out in the alert. Easy to install, simple to connect and under ?50. Incredible deal.

Great setup of two smoke alarms and one heat alarm. Easy to fit and already interlinked with each other. Alarms are small and compact and come with a sticky pad or you van use screws (not included). 10 year batteries fitted and are activated when you pull a piece of tape out of the smoke alarm. Well pleased by this kit and it complies with building regs too.

The units come pre-linked to each other, so there is no extra set up to do, just find a good spot for placing them (info in the instructions) and stick them up, or drill them up if you are feeling handy.

If one alarm is triggered it will set off the others too, so if your kitchen alarm goes off in the middle of the night all three alarms will sound at the same time, hopefully waking you up!

I found the alarm a good volume for our not giant house, and the remote is handy as long as you put it somewhere safe...

Overall a good set for a smallish house.

I really like the idea of alarms that are linked together. It's perfect in a house where everyone sleeps with their doors closed. This kit comes with 2 smoke and 1 heat detector. There are mounting guides for all of them , screws and Rawl plugs and adhesive pads to make it easier. They are ready linked , but come with linking instructions for adding more units. They are round , which is much better than square units in my experience as they will never be out of square. They look sleek and modern. Overall , a good kit with the natural evolution of fire alarms

Smoke alarm set

An interlinked set of two smoke alarms and one heat alarm to have throughout the home. A nice design, modern looking, so they're not offensive to the eye.

These come pre linked and they already have batteries in them, so all you need to do turn them on, test them and then install them and they're ready to go. You can either attach via the adhesive stickers, or use the screws provided.

I think these are great for the price. Useful in more ways than one. I would recommend them.

These prelinked heat and smoke alarm detectors is designed to cover the whole house and warn you against any possible fire hazard. The set comes with two smoke alarms detectors, and one heat detector. Smoke detectors are suitable to install in areas such as bedrooms and living rooms, and as the name proposes they are triggered by the smoke from fire, while he detectors our installed and bathrooms, kitchens and garagees, in areas where smoke(steam or exhaust fumes) is not an efficient symptom of burning fire. All three detectors they are interlinked between each other, which means that they will communicate between each other and will all three turn on in case only one of them is triggered. This is very convenient for large houses, and make sure you will never miss the alarm going off. Pressing the Test/Silence button on each device will help to locate the source of fire easily.
Installation is pretty straightforward, because:
- the devices are battery operated, this means that there will not be any need to bring the mains near the detector;
- the devices already prelinked, this means less time needed to set up connection between them.

I cannot vouch for building regs - which I see another reviewer has alluded to.

My experience is that this set is pretty easy to install and link up. Everything is in the box.

We had removed all of the smoke alarms in the house as they were erratic - deafening us and stressing the dog at random.

This set seem a good replacement. We've put the heat detector in the centre of the kitchen and placed the smoke detectors in the downstairs hallway and the upstairs landing. I found linking them not too difficult and the sticky pads have , so far been sufficient as the units themselves are pretty light.

Upon activation they are pretty quiet - but because they're linked , they're loud enough to be heard anywhere in our house.

Overall a decent package - the price looks pretty competitive.

I quite like this set of smoke alarms. They are easy to set up and seem to work ok when tested with a struck match smoke test. When smoke is detected, all the alarms sound and it is easy to find out which one has alarmed as when the silence button is pushed on any alarm the one still sounding is where the smoke is. They use a non-replaceable battery so once that is exhausted you have to dispose of the units and buy new ones.

It must be noted that this kit has 2 x smoke detectors and 1 x heat detector. There is a difference in how the units work so be sure to follow the placement instructions. The alarms come interlinked so should require minimal setup. As a point of note, these use Radio Frequency to work and do not require connecting to a home wireless network.

I'd not heard of Wisualarm before, but it turns out they're a subsidiary of Dahua who are a big name in the CCTV market, so definitely not a tinpot brand.

I've set something of a challenge for these detectors. The heat sensor is in the garage (you don't want a smoke alarm in there as a car exhaust will trigger it). 13 metres away, through a brick wall, a cavity wall and three doors, is a smoke alarm under the stairs. 5 metres away from that one, through a cavity wall and a wall made up of composite cladding, OSB, beech panelling and 3 inches of double-foil-lined insulation, is the second smoke alarm, in the shed.

Do they work? Through all that? You bet they work! The one under the stairs is mainly to act as a relay between the other two and to alert within the house that all is not well outside. Considering that the only gaps in the foil insulation are where the timbers are, it's surprising that any signal gets through at all, but it manages it. Trigger the one in the shed and a few seconds later the one under the stairs can be heard chirping down the cable duct. Open the shed door (which is almost as solid as the walls) and you'll hear the garage one wailing as well.

Something to watch for if mounting using screws is that the smoke alarm doesn't line up perfectly with the screw holes; if you put the screws straight the smoke alarm will be slightly skewed, see the photos of the unit on the wooden ceiling. Adjust the screw positions accordingly if you want the unit to look straight afterwards; the half-past-eleven and half-past-five positions should fare better. The heat alarm (shown mounted to a joist) doesn't have this issue.

They're dead easy to set up, just press the test button four times on one of the alarms to put it into pairing mode, then press the test button twice on each of the others for them to pair up. Job done, get 'em on the ceiling.

I already have Dicor wired smoke alarms in the rest of the house, but if I didn't then I'd definitely be looking at the Wisualarm ones. If you have no smoke alarms then you really have no excuse. You don't even need to be able to wield a screwdriver as they come with double-sided pads, too!

Look neat, work well, but not the loudest

Great set, and other sensors can be added in, I have purchased an additional single alarm.

Handy to have heat only in the kitchen so you don't get annoyed and remove it! And then normal smoke ones for elsewhere.

I pressed a few button combinations and I think they unlinked, but reading the manual it is really easy to pair them again and add in a new alarm.

What is really nice is that you can test one alarm and the others will beep to confirm they are connected and also have power.
So each time you test the alarms you also get it confirmed they are linked still

Have installed one downstairs, one upstairs and one in the loft, with an additional alarm on its way. No problems with the communications between alarms.

Batteries are none replaceable, or removable, stops people from taking the battery out to use on something else. a simple and great change that will save lives.

Alarm when sounding is very loud, no problem hearing the one on the landing when in the bedroom with the door closed, or over the sound of a TV

Great idea, allows you to interconnect up to 24 smoke and / or heat alarms wirelessly so if any one alarm is triggered, all the others also sounds. Likewise a triggered alarm can be reset from any of the others.

This is ideal in a large building / houses where an alarm downstairs, or in a garage or shed, might not be heard upstairs when you are sleeping.

It is easy to set up, with clear instructions included.

There are templates for drilling holes in wall in correct places, or you can use the included self adhesive tabs.

They have built in batteries with a claimed life of ten years, so no worrying about having to change batteries every year.

Best of all, they are wireless so need no interconnecting wires, so you can fit them yourself without having to call in an electrician.

Good kit.

A set of two smoke detectors and one heat detector that are all pre linked so that if one go off they all go off. This complies with the recent Scottish regulations specifying that you should have one smoke alarm in the living (or most occupied) room, one in every hallway and landing and a heat alarm in the kitchen. The alarms are powered by pre-fitted batteries that should last ten years so you don't need to worry about replacing the batteries every year. When the alarm goes off you can press the test button which will silence all but the triggered alarm allowing the source to be located. A good set that come with both double sided self adhesive pads or screws for mounting. The alarms seem durable enough to last.

This set of detectors for me gives peace of mind that should the worst happen we should be protected.
I say should be as you can never be 100percent sure until they're needed.
They are extremely loud and should do the job well.
I like that they are interconnected so they all sound if one goes off.
Handy having a heat detector as well as smoke detectors as it enables you to put one in the kitchen so no false alarms from any steam.
They're very easy to fit two screws in each mount and just twist to fit.
They come with mounting templates, fixing screws and sticky pads if that's how you want to attach them.
Obviously I can't comment on the 10 year battery life but would hope that it's fairly accurate.

In the box are 2 smoke detectors and a heat detector, system remote control, screw fixing kit, adhesive fixing kit and an instruction booklet.

All the detectors have sealed power cells so they are definitely single use, once the battery is dead then it's time to bin them. That said the stated battery life is 10 years which should be sufficient but from my experience of other sealed battery operated equipment you'll probably get 10-20% less.

The smoke and heat detectors come pre-connected which is great, no faffing around with button pressing in certain sequences. Additional sensors can be added and here you do have to do a bit of button pressing to get them to connect.

The alarms are quite loud, not the loudest I've heard but good enough and when all three are chiming they will wake most people.

The remote control allows you to test each detector and also mute the alarm in the event of a false activation, handy if you burn the toast at 7 am when everyone else is still in bed!!!

Installation is straight forward, each detector has a back plate that needs to be screwed or stuck to the ceiling. The detector then attaches to the back plate using three lugs which locate into holes at 120 degree spacing and secure when turned. If you fit the back plate to an uneven surface such as a textured ceiling then the lugs may not align easily making fitting fiddly.
Each detector must be positioned in a central point in the room, not in corners or places where they are shielded.

Verdict: The detectors are well designed. The build quality feels good and everything required for installation is in the box.
The price for 2 smoke detectors, 1 heat detector is very reasonable when compared to other offerings in the market place, many of which have fewer sensors.

I'm very happy with this system.

I picked up this Wireless Interlinked Smoke and Heat Alarm Kit recently, and it's been really solid. The pre-linked setup and the 10-year battery life are convenient features. It ticks the compliance boxes for both Scotland and England, and the remote silence option is handy. With 2 smoke detectors and 1 heat detector in the kit, it covers the essentials. Overall, it's a reliable choice for home safety, and the long battery life is a definite plus. I'd recommend it.

For safety and peace of mind, you NEED a set like this in your house.

why linked? when you have standalone you may not hear it when your asleep at the other side of the house, these ALL sound when one is activated by every house owners worst nightmare.

they were already linked so i just had to stick them up and they were working.

temperature sensor is for the kitchen, bottom of stairs and main landing is for the 2nd and 3rd.

Linking alarms wirelessly is a good idea, each trigger the other. However, they are not ear piercingly loud so best suited to smaller houses, where you would probably hear the main alarm anyway. I have no tested the range, but they come pre-connected straight out the box so setting up is a breeze.

There are a lot of do's and don't's regarding positioning, especially in the kitchen, to prevent false alarms.

My two main gripes were the cost, and the fact they can't link to an app or my home network and tell me the alarm has triggered when I'm not at home. At this price it should have been included in my opinion.

Batteries are ten year life and cannot be replaced, in ten years I am sure most detectors will be home network connected when I have to replace this unit.

For ease of installing, 5 out of 5, for the high price and non home network compatibility, 3 out of 5, so overall 4 out of 5.
